What is
really observable in Lebanon is that the amount of people who read for general
knowledge is really negligible. From this point it's important to highlight the
importance of knowing beyond the curriculum given in school. In the past it was
hard to find a library in order to get informed and they were searching, but
technology is improving nowadays and it's becoming easier for every person, so
that everyone can do it while staring on the computer opening many libraries
and going through. There is much time that can be divided between having fun,
chatting with others and building general knowledge. When individuals get more
involved in this process, they'll be ready to sit in any society and go through
different topics, and this will give them an inside pleasure and an intrinsic motivation to go deeper and search more to be ready for a new mission. Building knowledge is the key toward being wise, knowing that having wisdom is not just through storing knowledge, but through knowing where and when to use every single detail.So it's important to emphasize on the importance of building such general knowledge, because knowledge is beneficial in every single situation.
General knowledge is every thing that stays in our mind through out our lives. It is not a matter of where to get them from. The problem is that no adays we are not giving it that much attention even though it is importnant. Not only for society but for ourselves. It is a good thing to have knowledge in many different areas.

DeleteOur knowledge and experiences in life are what shape our personalities. Reading is an important factor in building people's knowledge about the world and granting them chances to learn about different things in an engaging way. Teachers and parents can play an important role in helping children establish a good relationship with books and reading.

DeleteKnowledge is the base of life and in my opinion it is the deference between the died and alive person since by knowledge we think we understand we can live but without their is no meaning for our life

DeleteKnowledge, and general knowledge as we see in our age of technology is decreasing significantly with the increase of all the technology in our lives, and the children's lives... But i think parents and teachers should take a role and help the children in seeing the importance and the fun in reading, and it can be reading online( to keep up with the technology, because young children might not like the fact of reading actual books)
